Delete your Aman account
You can delete your account at any time. You don't need an account to use Aman; it's only used for Premium.
In the app
- Open Aman and tap the gear to open Settings.
- Tap Account at the top.
- Tap Delete account and confirm. You may be asked to sign in with Google once more.
Without the app
If you no longer have Aman installed, email support@amanapp.dev from the Google address you signed in with, with the subject “Delete my Aman account”. We'll delete it within 30 days and confirm by email.
What is deleted
- Your account in Google Firebase: your name, email address, profile picture and user ID.
- Your customer record in RevenueCat, our subscription service, so your user ID is no longer linked to Premium.
What is not deleted
- Data on your device, like habits, Quran progress and settings, is never on our servers. To remove it, clear Aman's data or uninstall the app.
- Purchase records that Google Play keeps under its own policies, and the sales reports we must keep under Swedish accounting law (7 years).
- An active subscription is not cancelled by deleting your account. Cancel it in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions first.
